This is a long squash blossom measuring around 34 long. The inlay on this necklace consists of turquoise, lapis, mother of pearl, coral, brown shell and abalone. Each bird measures around 1-1/2″ X 5/8″. The inlaid silver naja pendant measures around 2″ X 2″. Resting throughout the necklace are phenomenal round silver beads with a traditional silver clasp. This museum quality necklace contains 13 fascinating inlaid birds including the bird on the naja pendant. Signed by Navajo artist, Carlene Leekity. The length of the necklace measures around 34. This is a magnificent Navajo turquoise and silver kachina squash blossom necklace being one of the most unique squash blossoms we have ever seen handmade by the famous artist, Larry Moses Begay. This piece contains five huge kachina faces with the bottom pendant being a huge completely hand carved silver kachina. The bottom pendant measures a mind blowing 4-7/8″ X 1-7/8″ and each kachina face measures around 1-7/8 in diameter. Surrounding the kachinas are marvelous teardrop shaped turquiose stones. Located on the larger kachina are more phenomenal turquoise stones in different shapes and sizes. The silver beads that run throughout this necklace are stunning and huge.
