This listing is for an earlier vintage Navajo cuff bracelet, handcrafted from Sterling Silver and Natural Turquoise. Please see all 21 photos. Handcrafted by an unidentified Navajo Artist during the early mid century, this vintage cuff features 4 natural turquoise stones lined over a double carinated shank. Each stone protrudes from an old hand etched bezel while showing off blue-green color hues with natural matrixes running throughout. The stones appear to be completely natural and have slight textures. They sit tight and secure with no damage and have a satin polished finish. Large silver droplets rest between the stones while huge graduating droplets with stampings follow around the sides. The stones and droplets all rest over a bed of silver resting between two carinated shanks of solid silver. The shanks are super thick and chunky with deep stampings around the front and smooth end caps applied to the ends. This cuff is solid, heavy, and pleasingly comfortable when worn on the correct sized wrist. Pay attention to the measurements because this cuff has NO flex. There is no sterling stamp or signature which is very common of the era, however old trade numbers can be seen etched. The silver has been tested and we guarantee the purity to be solid sterling. The shanks have a very dark, nearly black, patina build up in some areas. This Navajo cuff will make a great addition to any collection. Inside Measurement (End to End) – The inside of the cuff measures 5-1/2 from end to end. Gap – The gap measures just a hair under 1 and it can NOT be adjusted. Even with heavy force, the ends will not budge on this cuff. Total Size of Cuff Including Gap – The inside measurement and gap combined measure 6-1/2.. Should fit a wrist between 5-7/8 and 6-3/8 comfortably. If your wrist is 6-1/2 or larger then the cuff will be very tight or too small. Shank/Face Measurements – At front center the cuff measures 1-3/4″ wide and slowly tapers down too 1/2″ wide at each end. The individual shanks are 1/4″ wide and approximately 3/16″ thick. Stone Measurements – The stones range in size from 3/4″ long too just over 1/2″ long. Signed By Artist – NO. Stamped Sterling – NO, tested and verified. 925 sterling silver guaranteed.
