HUGE LONG Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Kingman Turquoise Coral Ring VERY RARE
This listing features a vintage Navajo ring, handcrafted from Sterling Silver, Kingman Turquoise, Coral, and Petrified Walrus Tooth. NOTE: Make sure to view all 23 photos. Last 5 photos show ring being worn on a medium/large hand. Handcrafted in the later-mid century by an unidentified Artist, this ring features a unique design at a high level of craftsmanship. The ring features a long face adorned with 3 high grade gem stones. The turquoise is deep blue with tight black webbing and undeniably from the Kingman mine. The coral is bright red with natural pitting and a satin finish. The third stone is actually made up of three inlays and appears to be petrified walrus tooth.. Super rare and unusual!!! It has beautiful tan color hues with dark matrix like veining. The stones are in excellent condition and rest securely in their bezels over a thick bed of silver. Silver droplets accompany the stones while the turquoise is surrounded by dark oxidized silver. The ring is thick, sturdy, and in excellent vintage condition. The back of the ring has a triple fused shank that splits before meeting the back of the face. It’s a solid band, in perfect round shape. A thunderbird picto hallmark is deeply stamped however, there is no sterling stamp. The silver has been tested and proves to be sterling. Add this statement piece to your collection of Native American jewelry, wear with pride, and enjoy before handing it down in the future. Size – Sits between a 6.75 and a 7 on a ring mandrel. Weight – 12.5 Grams. Ring Face Measurements – The ring face measures just over 1-1/2″ long by just over 3/4″ wide. Stone Measurements – The turquoise measures 5/8″ long by 3/8″ wide. The coral measures 5/16″ by 1/4″. The Walrus Tooth measures 1-1/2″ along the curve and starts at 3/16″ wide, tapering down to a point. Shank Measurements – At bottom center the three shanks measure 1/4″ wide and the split shanks have a spread of 5/8″ wide when meeting the back of the ring. Signed by Artist – YES, stamped with a thunderbird picto hallmark for an unidentified Navajo Artist. Stamped Sterling – NO, tested and verified. 925 sterling silver guaranteed. Mid Century, 1970’s+. Vintage 1940’s Navajo Sterling Silver Peyote Bird Turquoise Blossom Pendant RARE
This listing features a very old and rare Navajo crafted pendant, made from sterling silver and turquoise. This pendant features a deeply stamped peyote bird design along with a single flush set turquoise stone in the center. A large bail is soldered to the top while the bottom features a long dangling cone with 5 short petal tips. It’s a very unique piece and looks amazing when worn around the neck. The pendant is well made, sturdy, and in wonderful condition for its age. There is no signature or sterling stamp however, the silver has been tested and proves to be sterling. This Navajo crafted pendant is a great example of Native American culture. It will last for years to come and be handed down for generations….. Cherish and enjoy this unique piece before handing it down to a loved one in the future. NOTE: Silver chain in last photo is not included with this listing. It is shown for modeling purposes only. Weight – 11 Grams. Length – From the top of the bail to the bottom of the dangling cone the entire pendant measures 4 long. The peyote bird portion(not including the bale) measures 1-3/8″ long by just under 1″ wide. The dangling cone measures 2-1/8″ long and has a width at the widest end of 5/16″. Stone Measurements – The stone measures just a hair under 1/2″ long by 1/4″ wide and sits on top of the pendant at 1/4 high.
