Description: Conchos and buckle are hand-stamped, sterling or coin silver with repousse’ work and on a black leather belt. A nice, older concho belt. Tested as being sterling or coin silver. Maker: Most likely Navajo made, but there is no maker’s hallmark (which is common of Native American jewelry made during this era). Age: Vintage (circa 1930s). Size: Conchos measure 2″ wide x 1 5/8″, butterfly’s measure 5/8″w x 1 1/8″. Buckle is 2″ w x 1 3/4″ h. Belt is 44 long overall. Weight is 214.0 g. Condition: Good for its age. Normal wear and minor imperfections expected on used and vintage items. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description. The incredible Zuni cluster piece is over a half-century old and done in the traditional techniques, including hand shaped turquoise stones. You will find this amazing piece the home to 77 Lone Mountain Turquoise stones. The stones match beautifully and you will find several of those deep blue rocks with black matrix. We have been lucky enough to have a couple of these in that classic pure blue Mountain stone, but never this magnificent spider web rock. All of the stones are set in a heavy silver that is in perfect shape, something you can actually wear and not have to put away in a safety deposit box.
