This is a Fred Harvey Era Vintage Navajo Thunderbird Turquoise Cuff Bracelet Marked Sterling. This old Fred Harvey era has lots of nice tarnish and natural age patina. It is marked Sterling. The natural turquoise stone with white matrix has a plain bezel and is set as the body of the central thunderbird appliqué. To each side is another thunderbird appliqué with crossed arrows body, and stamp decorated thunderbird. Additionally, the bracelet is profusely stamp decorated. The weight is 28.5 grams. The bracelet measures 5 3/4 inches around plus a gap of 1 1/8 inches for a total of 6 7/8 inches. The width is 1 inch. The bracelet is a little too big for my 6 1/4 inch wrist (mainly the gap size). There is NO flexibility for size adjustment and is definitely not recommended (the appliqués would be in danger of popping off). Signed TC 11+ozt Navajo 11 CONCHO BELT buckle Sterling Silver heavily Stamped

Signed Old Heavy Navajo. Sterling Silver Concho Belt. 11 Conchos + 1 Belt Buckle. 2.66″ X 2.1″. Tan Leather Belt is 38″ and is set up now for a 30.5″ – 34.5 waist. It may be modified to accommodate a smaller waist by adding an additional hole. 360.7 grams = 11.6 Troy ounces Total Weight. This great old Navajo Concho Belt was made by “TC”. But I’m not so sure about who crafted this one. Tom Cayanito, another Dine artist, is a possibility. In any event, it is splendid. It has some very compelling shapes that are subtle and smooth looking but each piece has dramatic deep stamping achieving a balance in appearance. My guess is that it is 40-50 years old. It has lots of tarnish patina. And has the artists hallmark “TC”. It is Not stamped “Sterling” but it is guaranteed to be Sterling Silver and authentic. If you have a larger waist than 36.5 (like me), this belt strap would need to be replaced. Please, take a good look at the pictures and magnified photographs to see if it is the one for you. DAMELE TURQUOISE CORAL Sterling Silver Vtg Navajo Old Pawn Cuff Bracelet Signed

This is a very old, unique sterling silver, Damele turquoise and coral bracelet. It was hand made and signed by the Navajo artist with what appears to be the initials VJ (see photo). These are the initials used by Virgie Jake. This beautiful bracelet features two high grade valuable gemstones! The highly domed turquoise is a very rare and very valuable green Damele turquoise. The genunine coral cabochon is very fine with just one tiny “pore”. Both gems are secure in the settings. The bracelet is made of several layers of sterling silver with appliqued leaves, tendrils, and rain beads. The silverwork is highly detailed and well done. Please use the zoom feature to take a close look. The bezels are enhanced with twist wire trim. The bracelet has hand stamping and fine wire trim. It is 1/4 wide but quite sturdy. It has been tested and verified to be sterling silver. The inside circumference is 5 1/2″ plus 7/8″ gap. It could be carefully adjusted a bit. Weight is 26 grams. It has a rich, dark patina, which I have not touched but leave that to you to decide whether or not to polish it. I love the gemstones, the very fine silverwork, and the smaller size that does not feel bulky or overwhelming on the wrist. This cuff will polish up beautifully. Items are enlarged to show detail. Coin used for size reference only. I leave patina intact so you can decide to polish or not. Any description or mention of type of turquoise is my best assessment, but not a fact, since I cannot know for sure, and to err is human. Please examine the photos and draw your own conclusions.
