RARE Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Turquoise Multi Stone Inlay Cuff Bracelet

This listing is for a rare and valuable Navajo handcrafted cuff bracelet, made of sterling silver and multiple gemstone inlays. This desirable cuff bracelet was expertly crafted by the well known and renowned Navajo Artist, Ray Tracey Knifewing. Made with a heavier gauge solid silver, the single shank cuff is strong and sturdy. The entire face of the cuff features flush inlaid gemstones from end to end. The three stones chosen for this piece were turquoise, pink coral, and sugilite…… Pink, purple, and turquoise, a girls dream color combo! Each stone was hand cut into 4 sided rectangles and precisely placed within the cuff face. The turquoise has a pale sky blue hue with some stones having no matrix at all and others having heavy dark spiderwebbed matrixes. The coral has a hazy shade of pinkish orange with subtle matrix lines running throughout. The sugilite has several shades of purple ranging from a light pinkish purple to a dark purple. In total, there are 69 stone inlays, with 28 turquoise, 23 sugilite, and 18 coral. The three colors contrast nicely together creating a soft feminine look. Wafer-thin silver channels are placed throughout the face as well, running North to South. There are a total of 24 silver channels. The silver used to create the cuff is thick and hearty, so there is no give at the gap. Its a very solid well made bracelet weighing in at 71 grams. The ends of the cuff have smooth edges making application to the wrist comfortable and effortless. The Artists signature Picto hallmark along with a sterling stamp resides on the inside of the cuff. A gorgeous piece with an intricate and complex design, great for todays trending bohemian styles and perfect to stack with other cuffs. It rests securely in its bezel as it protrudes up and out creating a slight domed effect. Classic twisted rope surrounds the stone with each side of the band having additional ropes. The single shank band tapers down and eventually smooths out as it nears the bottom center. HUGE RARE Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Multi Stone Inlay Cuff Bracelet

This listing is for a superbly handcrafted early Navajo cuff bracelet by Charlie Bowie. It is made of sterling silver and multiple stone inlays of Mediterranean Coral, Onyx, Turquoise, and Gold-Lip Mother of Pearl. This is truly a fantastic find….. Being extremely rare and in excellent condition, this highly sought after Navajo design will be a treasured addition to your collection of fine Native American jewelry. For the avid collector, this tangible asset is not one to pass up. The cuff is made with a thick and wide solid silver shank. The front center carries a raised silver plate featuring a raised cardinal inlay, using red mediterranean coral and onyx. The cardinal is perched on a branch made from deep hand stampings along with turquoise leaf inlays and a flower inlay of coral. Triangular inlays of green turquoise frame the center display and are set flush in the silver plate. Moving down the sides of the cuff all the way to the ends are slightly raised inlays of light blue turquoise and gold-lip mother of pearl. Wafer thin channels of silver run between the stones spacing them apart evenly. They have a high polished finish and are cut in triangular shapes, with the exception of the last inlay at each end which are quadrilateral in shape with 4 sides. Bowie used turquoise at one end and GLMOP on the other end. Small details like this truly make this piece standout from the rest. The design is finished off with loosely hand twisted rope resting in deep cutout valleys at each side of the cuffs edges….. Truly a beautiful handcrafted piece by Navajo Artist, Bowie. RARE Southwestern Native American Indian turquoise row Sterling silver cuff bracelet, hallmarked KS and stamped STERLING by the late and renowned Navajo artist KIRK SMITH. This bracelet showcases striking turquoise stones, nicely polished, and set in smooth bezels with silver raindrops in between them, across the center of the cuff. A silver bar was added to both ends of the row, and deep stamps were applied to the terminals of the shank, and the inside as well. Very heavy-gauge silver band, one of Kirk’s signatures. This stunning cuff weighs approximately 89.5. Grams, it’s 11/16″ wide, and measures 5 11/16″ around the inside, end to end. Add 1 1/2 for the gap. Exceptional stones and silver work. CALVIN MARTINEZ Vintage Navajo Coral Cuff Bracelet 114 Grams RARE

T his listing features an extremely important and valuable cuff bracelet made by one of the most famous Navajo Artists of all time. This heavy gauge red coral cuff was made by the esteemed, and highly valued Navajo master silversmith, Calvin Martinez. This traditional revivalist bracelet features 13 high grade red coral cabochons. Martinez is known for using only the finest of natural stones in his work and this piece truly shows it. Each coral piece resides in extremely fine-etched sawtooth bezels and lay perfectly spaced apart with just 1 millimeter between them. This tiny gap between the stones allow for the dark oxidized silver to show through and add depth, truly making the coral pop. Martinez added more depth and dimension with raised silver droplets that rest between each coral stone running down each side of the cuff. Each silver droplet is perfectly hand poured and of the exact same size. Moving along towards the gap each side of the cuff portrays detailed traditional hand stamped designs that extend from the corals to each end of the cuff. This bracelet is extremely heavy, thick, and solid. It weighs a total of 114 grams! The gap is somewhat small compared to the inner circumference but can be sized to fit the wrist simply by applying pressure to the ends. At its present state the cuff would fit a 6 wrist with out falling off due to the gap being only 1 wide. It would however slide up and down the arm. This cuff would also fit a larger wrist of 7-1/2 but it would need to be adjusted by opening the gap up slightly. So whether you have a small wrist of 6 or a larger wrist of 7 -7.5, this cuff could work for you. Just know that if your wrist is larger then the gap it will need to be widened either by you or a jeweler. The back is polished in style, and bears the hallmark C. MTZ” in an arrowhead which is the Hallmark for “Calvin Martinez. The inside is stamped “sterling” as well. This fantastic museum quality piece hand made by Martinez is sure to not disappoint. The design is simple yet stunningly beautiful with the most beautiful silver work and it doesnt have that overly large gaudy look…. Its a very well thought out solid piece….
