This listing is for a superbly handcrafted early Navajo cuff bracelet by Charlie Bowie. It is made of sterling silver and multiple stone inlays of Mediterranean Coral, Onyx, Turquoise, and Gold-Lip Mother of Pearl. This is truly a fantastic find….. Being extremely rare and in excellent condition, this highly sought after Navajo design will be a treasured addition to your collection of fine Native American jewelry. For the avid collector, this tangible asset is not one to pass up. The cuff is made with a thick and wide solid silver shank. The front center carries a raised silver plate featuring a raised cardinal inlay, using red mediterranean coral and onyx. The cardinal is perched on a branch made from deep hand stampings along with turquoise leaf inlays and a flower inlay of coral. Triangular inlays of green turquoise frame the center display and are set flush in the silver plate. Moving down the sides of the cuff all the way to the ends are slightly raised inlays of light blue turquoise and gold-lip mother of pearl. Wafer thin channels of silver run between the stones spacing them apart evenly. They have a high polished finish and are cut in triangular shapes, with the exception of the last inlay at each end which are quadrilateral in shape with 4 sides. Bowie used turquoise at one end and GLMOP on the other end. Small details like this truly make this piece standout from the rest. The design is finished off with loosely hand twisted rope resting in deep cutout valleys at each side of the cuffs edges….. Truly a beautiful handcrafted piece by Navajo Artist, Bowie. Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Channel Turquoise Cobblestone Inlay Cuff Bracelet

This listing is for a vintage Navajo handcrafted cuff bracelet made of sterling silver and turquoise. This is a well made cuff featuring 4 raised stone inlays on each side of the cuff face. The stones are set in a cobblestone fashion with a thick silver channel running between two of the stones on each side. They have a gorgeous opaque hue of blue green with subtle matrixes and a high shine polished finish. Each turquoise stone is in mint condition with no cracks or inclusions, obviously a very well looked after piece. The pillowy stones travel deep into the cuff, due to the design of the shank. The base of the cuff is made with a wide single shank, with the front having a dark oxidization. The Artist then applied 5 silver channels running from end to end, creating deep valleys between them. The three center channels are straight and rigid giving the illusion of depth and dimension against the dark oxidized shank below them. The two outer channels are slightly longer but are pushed inward and made flush with the others. The outer channels help hold the stones in place and help finish the cuff with a clean sleek design. The 9th photo in the listing helps to better understand how the cuff was designed! The silver used to create the cuff is thick and hearty and there is no give at the gap. Its a very sturdy and solid piece. A gorgeous handcrafted bracelet with a simple design, great for todays trending bohemian styles and perfect to stack with other cuffs. This desirable style cuff bracelet contains raised stone inlays from end to end in a cobblestone fashion. The stones have bold contrasting color qualities. The most obvious stone used is turquoise with heavy black spider web matrixes. Mother of pearl and blue lapis is also used to contrast against the green turquoise. Each stone is in great condition with no cracks or inclusions, obviously a very well looked after piece. The silver used to create the cuff is thick and hearty and there is no give at the gap. Its a very solid well made bracelet. The front center edges of the cuff have hand stampings and classic Navajo cutouts to the silver and then continues to the gap sleek and smooth. A gorgeous piece with a simple yet colorful design, great for todays trending bohemian styles and perfect to stack with other cuffs. This listing is for a handcrafted contemporary Navajo cuff bracelet made of sterling silver and natural gem stones of turquoise, coral, blue lapis, spiny oyster, sugalite, and fire opal. NOTE – Before reading the description, I want to point out that this cuff is made for a smaller wrist. If you have a wrist that is larger than 6 this piece will not fit you…. The inner circumference is 5-1/4 with a gap measuring just under 1…… Now on to the good stuff! Highly polished, natural gem stones are set in a raised cobblestone fashion over the face of this very thick and solid silver cuff. The geometric shaped stones are pressed against one another truly creating a gorgeous piece of lapidary work. Each stone inlay is in excellent condition with no cracks or inclusions. The color that jumps off this piece is absolutely incredible!! The bold contrasting hues truly make this piece standout from others. Two types of turquoise, with beautiful spiderwebbed matrixes and specks of pyrite, cover most of the face with other gem stones laid in between. This is a very thick and heavy piece at 71 grams. The silver used to create this piece is solid, therefore there is absolutely NO give to the gap opening. Please measure your wrist and check the measurements below before purchasing. This highly sought after Navajo design will make a great addition to your existing collection of fine Native American jewelry….. Or it could be the perfect piece to start one. Total number of stones inlays – 25 stones in total – 8 Blue Turquoise, 4 Green Turquoise, 2 Red Coral, 2 Salmon Coral, 2 Dark Blue Lapis, 3 Spiny Oyster, 3 Sugalite, 1 Fire Opal. Inlay Section measures – 4-1/4 long and 11/16 wide at front center, tapering down on each side too 9/16 wide. Signed By Artist – NO. Stamped Sterling – NO, tested and verified.
