Stone(s): Graduated oval and square spiny oyster shell cabochons (red, orange, and purple/yellow) – larger center stone is 15/16″ tall by almost 3/4″ wide, bezel to bezel. Weight: 83.5 grams! Gap: just over 1 1/8. Total Circumference: 6 9/16. Born in 1969 in Gallup, New Mexico, Darrell started making jewelry in 1992. Darrell is the brother of renowned silversmiths David and Andy Cadman, and half-brother of Gary and Sunshine Reeves. His work shows similarity to the work his siblings, and together, this formidable group of silversmiths have created some of the most stunning work in Navajo Country. Darrell lost two of his brothers, David & Gary, the major influences in his jewelry making, but continues to follow in their footsteps creating beautiful rug pattern stamp work and intricate silver appliques. IN Signed Sterling Silver & Turquoise Concho Navajo Belt

This beautiful turquoise and sterling silver concho belt is signed “IN”, of the Navajo tribe. There are a total of 13 conchos, including the buckle. Each concho can be adjusted along the belt as desired, and there is enough room on the leather to customize a waist size. The full length of the belt is approximately 45 inches, and does contain a hole already punched for about a 36 inch waist. There are some light scratches, scuffs, and discolorations along the leather. There is patina on each concho; this can be easily cleaned if desired. The pictures provided will give you a good idea of the dimensions. The belt is not overly heavy and will look great with any outfit. This piece was merchandise in my mother’s now closed business. Outstanding bracelet showcasing 73 turquoise stones, in various shades of blue and green, set in serrated bezels, adorned with silver raindrops, and distributed in concentric circles and side clusters. The largest center stone measures 1 6/16″ by 5/8″, bezel to bezel. The moderate patina was left untouched. This piece weighs approximately 97 grams, it’s 2 13/16″ wide, and about 5 3/4″ around the inside, end to end, measured from the center of the cuff. The gap is about 1. This listing is for a superbly handcrafted early Navajo cuff bracelet by Charlie Bowie. It is made of sterling silver and multiple stone inlays of Mediterranean Coral, Onyx, Turquoise, and Gold-Lip Mother of Pearl. This is truly a fantastic find….. Being extremely rare and in excellent condition, this highly sought after Navajo design will be a treasured addition to your collection of fine Native American jewelry. For the avid collector, this tangible asset is not one to pass up. The cuff is made with a thick and wide solid silver shank. The front center carries a raised silver plate featuring a raised cardinal inlay, using red mediterranean coral and onyx. The cardinal is perched on a branch made from deep hand stampings along with turquoise leaf inlays and a flower inlay of coral. Triangular inlays of green turquoise frame the center display and are set flush in the silver plate. Moving down the sides of the cuff all the way to the ends are slightly raised inlays of light blue turquoise and gold-lip mother of pearl. Wafer thin channels of silver run between the stones spacing them apart evenly. They have a high polished finish and are cut in triangular shapes, with the exception of the last inlay at each end which are quadrilateral in shape with 4 sides. Bowie used turquoise at one end and GLMOP on the other end. Small details like this truly make this piece standout from the rest. The design is finished off with loosely hand twisted rope resting in deep cutout valleys at each side of the cuffs edges….. Truly a beautiful handcrafted piece by Navajo Artist, Bowie.
