Vintage Navajo Turquoise Sterling Silver Squash Blossom Necklace. This is a large and fantastic Squash Blossom Necklace. This necklace is Navajo crafted from sterling silver and natural deep blue turquoise with matrix throughout. The design is backed with a sterling chain in where hand crafted bench beads are strung. This is a double stranded necklace. Each squash blossom is a little different from one another since the design follows the cut of the turquoise. Because of this you will not find another necklace made like this. It is not a mass production piece but custom based on the stones chosen. This is a collectors piece. Weighs 189.94 grams. Beautiful turquoise although I don’t know what mine it came from. The naja is 3.25″ wide and 3.13″ long. The beads measure from 1.75 to 1.5 inches long. The chain is 24 inches long. The condition is excellent with no damage, simply normal wear for a vintage piece. The bench beads are nicely smooth at the seams (not sharp).
