Southwestern Native American Indian Fox turquoise Sterling silver squash blossom bead necklace with naja pendant, unmarked but most likely Navajo. These gorgeous teal colored stones are set in smooth bezels, wrapped in twisted wire, and framed by filed borders. The naja showcases 7 gems on its frame, from end to end, and a single one in the center. There are 6 squash blossoms on each side and they each have a single stone. The naja measures about roughly 2 5/8″ in height by 2 1/2″ in width. The blossoms are uniform in size at about 1 3/8″ in height and just over 1/2″ in width. The 3/16″ bench bead necklace is 22 1/2″ from hook to eye, and has a partial double layer of beads to better secure the blossoms. The clasp has a small chain for added security. This piece weighs approximately 144 grams!! Superb stones and silver work. Thank you for supporting authentic Native American art. The Necklace is in good used condition: the stones are not cracked or chipped, the silver beads are not dented, the metal has an old patina that has happened with age & wear, the hook clasp works perfectly, and it was recently restrung on Soft Flex and its very secure. The Necklace is approximately 23 inches long from end to end, pendant hangs down 2 inches, and the total weight of the Necklace.
