You are looking at a NAVAJO MOTHER-IN-LAW BELL EARRINGS STERLING SILVER 1940’S. These vintage mother-in-law bell earrings are used, in excellent vintage condition. They have exceptional design details, such as the flat circular pads of the screw back mechanisms feature a crisp, hand stamped traditional sunburst design. The tightening rods are a high-quality knurled/coin edged tightening knob. The flat face of each screw knob is stamped “STERLING”. Both screw mechanisms turn smoothly and tighten securely. The internal clappers are completely intact securely attached by their original hand-bent silver loops and ring when shaken. The internal bell cavity has a natural patina and has been untouched.
