Description: Conchos and buckle are hand-stamped, sterling or coin silver with repousse’ work and on a black leather belt. A nice, older concho belt. Tested as being sterling or coin silver. Maker: Most likely Navajo made, but there is no maker’s hallmark (which is common of Native American jewelry made during this era). Age: Vintage (circa 1930s). Size: Conchos measure 2″ wide x 1 5/8″, butterfly’s measure 5/8″w x 1 1/8″. Buckle is 2″ w x 1 3/4″ h. Belt is 44 long overall. Weight is 214.0 g. Condition: Good for its age. Normal wear and minor imperfections expected on used and vintage items. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description. Vintage Navajo made sterling silver concho belt necklace. It measure 30 long, and weighs 101.6 grams. Hallmarked “STERLING” on the reverse, as shown in the picture. Great vintage condition, with some silver patina from age. The piece was originally almost black with tarnish, I have cleaned it as best as I could, and it looks great, but there is still some residual tarnish. It’s a great piece of authentic vintage Navajo sterling silver jewelry! Unless otherwise specified my items are preowned and vintage – they are not new.
