His use of stars is found in most of his designs. Stars are recognized in every country and continent and appear on countless flags. They symbolize the heavens, brightness and good fortune. This star has no pin and no bail, so it’s not a brooch or a pendant. It appears to have been designed to be a display piece. The back is hallmarked Navajo Cody Sanderson U. ” It measures approximately 1-5/8″ long by 1-5/8 wide. Navajo artist Cody Sanderson is known for his imaginative, often playful style. His award-winning jewelry frequently involves hand-fabricating techniques such as bending, forging, casting, and stamping. Raised in Window Rock, Arizona, Sanderson now works from his studio in Santa Fe. He began making jewelry in 1999, learning his craft by experimenting, asking questions of other jewelers, and taking classes to learn new techniques such as tufa casting. This unique Cody Sanderson sterling silver star is in very good condition, as shown in the photos. It has some minor surface wear and age-appropriate oxidation. This is a tremendous vintage Navajo ring featuring a detailed handcarved silver eagle, silver beads, and silver stems, all on a 12k gold filled background, and a graduated solid silver band! The ring face measures around 20mmx22mm Signed by Navajo artist, S. Selina Warner The ring size is around 14. 12k gold filled and sterling silver, marked. Sturdy 11.5 grams. Silversmith Selina Werner learned her craft from well known Diné artisan Harry Morgan and his influence is recognizable in her fine craftsmanship-meticulous attention to detail and eye-catching silverwork framing beautifully colored gemstones. Selina Werner is listed as an artist from Acoma Pueblo in some publications and as a Diné artist in others. It is assumed she is of mixed heritage, or perhaps a Diné living at Acoma. We have chosen to list her as an Acoma silversmith.

WATCH BAND IS NAVAJO SRERLING SILVER w Turquoise. This is a very unique and unusual watch band. Mickeys feet and buttons are made from Turquoise. Not to mention the ctaftsmanship that is involved. I’ve never seen anything like this before. And I’ve seen a lot of Disney Watches and bands. The Lorus Watch is Quartz Is New And it is running. I changed the watch out from the original Timex wind up watch that was there. The original watch was an extremely old timex watch. So this predates to 1969. By the looks of the original watch, probably 1950s or earlier. I believe that his ears and nose are also made from stone. Enamel would have chipped by now. Add some unique charm to your wrist with this stunning Navajo-inspired cuff bracelet. UNIQUE Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Stacked Turquoise Cuff Bracelet

This listing is for a vintage Navajo cuff bracelet, handcrafted with Sterling Silver and Turquoise. NOTE: Please view all 24 photos. Last 4 photos show cuff on a 6 wrist with a medium/large hand. We love coming across unusual pieces like this Emerson Thompson cuff!! This vintage bracelet features a very unique design of stacked stones over a triple split shank of sterling silver. The stones have nice shades of rich blue with smoky matrixes and hints of shimmery pyrite. The 4 bottom stones are secured in straight bezels directly over the shank while the stacked stones have long rods of silver connecting them to the shank in between the bottom stones. It’s difficult to see how the Artist did this but, that’s the point. He didn’t want you to be able to see it. A sterling stamp is present along with a signature for the well known Navajo Artist, Emerson Thompson. The silver has been tested and we can guarantee it’s purity of. This is a pretty solid bracelet however, the gap could be adjusted with force. This Navajo cuff will make a great addition to any collection. It’s perfect for daily wear, comfortable, and super unique. I’m willing to bet you and everyone you know have nothing like it!! Wear it with pride and enjoy! Weight – 41 Grams. Inside Measurement (End to End) – The inside of the cuff (not including the gap) measures 5-3/4. Gap – The gap measures 1. This is a solid piece and the gap would need to be adjusted with heavy force. Total Size of Cuff Including Gap – 6-3/4″ Should fit a wrist between 6-1/4″ and 6-3/4 comfortably. Cuff Face/Shank Measurements – At front center the cuff measures just over 1″ wide before slowly tapering down on each side too 3/8″ wide at each end. Stone Measurements – The stones measure approximately 3/4″ long by 1/2″ wide. The 2 top stacked stones sit on top of the wrist at 5/8 high!! Signed By Artist – YES, signed by Navajo Artist Emerson Thompson. Stamped Sterling – YES, tested and verified. 925 sterling silver guaranteed. Later-Mid Century, 1970’s+. This listing features a vintage Navajo ring, handcrafted with Sterling Silver and Natural Turquoise. Handcrafted in the mid century by an unknown Navajo Artist, this vintage ring features a unique design of a turquoise stone surrounded by interesting silver work. The stone is set in a straight bezel portraying color qualities of deep blue along with subtle matrixes and a satin polished finish. The silver work bordering the stone is thick and wrapped like a ribbon curling back and forth… I’ve never seen anything like it but, it’s truly beautiful and very well made. The back of the ring has a thick and sturdy split shank, in perfect round wearable shape. There is no sterling stamp or Artist signature which is common of the era however, the silver has been tested and proves to be sterling. A very well crafted and unique Navajo piece. Will make a great addition to any vintage collection of Native American jewelry. Enjoy this Navajo ring before handing it down to a loved one in the future. Size – 7.5. Weight – 10.8 Grams.
