This listing features a vintage Navajo ring made of sterling silver and gem grade turquoise. This handcrafted ring features a single turquoise stone set in a tall straight bezel. The design is simple so all the attention is drawn to the beautiful turquoise. The stone has a high polished finish while portraying deep Caribbean blues and greens. Whispy cloud like matrixes run throughout the stone along with thick burnt orangey matrixes. The gem grade stone is in excellent used condition and rests securely in the bezel. The size is perfectnot overly large, yet big enough to make a statement. The band is well constructed being made from a wide shank that splits into 4 shanks. Its a very sturdy band and in perfect round wearable shape. This Navajo ring will make a wonderful addition to any Native American jewelry collection. Vintage Navajo double strand Jacla necklace made with graduated Turquoise Heishi, Shell & Coral beads and Sterling Silver end cones, hook and chain. The necklace is in good used condition: the Stones markings are natural matrixes & fissures, and it has a patina that has happened with age & wear. The necklace is approximately 23 inches long from end to end, and total weight of the necklace 60 grams. Vintage Sterling Turquoise Cuff Bracelet Hallmarked

Please read full description. Age of Item – Vintage. Condition – good condition (polished). Light scratches from wear and age. Inside Circumference – 5 1/2 end to end B. Gap Opening – 1. Width across bracelet – 2 1/4. Width from top to bottom – 1 7/8. Outside width of bracelet – 3/8 end to end. Weight – 15.57 Grams. Makers Mark – S M – can’t find exact name, there are several in both Zuni and Navajo. Precious Metal Mark – Sterling and confirmed positive by acid test. Designs or engraving – see pics. Gemstone – 5 sleping beauty stones – measure approx. Remarks & our Opinion – This is a lightweight cuff and is easily adjustable. Cuff is more oval than round and has markings on both sides. Marked SM at end of cuff. Dating – earliest would be 1950’s. We do a few basic tests to check if it is fake. Hit against teeth for sound. Use acetone to see if matrix washes off. Visual appearance and weight. If any of these checks are negative then we will let it be known in our description. If this is a polished cabochon we also assume it is stabilized turquoise. We do not know if it is low / high grade turquoise because the tests are destructive in nature and could damage the turquoise. Our opinion’s made about the jewelry we sell is so we can be as correct and honest about our description as we can. Native American Stamp & Hallmark Info -There are no exact dates when “Sterling” was first used on Native American jewelry. Opinions vary but is suggested after 1932. Most Native American items from 1930’s and before would not have a Sterling or 925 stamp or a Artist hallmark. There are exceptions to this. Some items made in the 1940’s-1950’s may have used the Sterling stamp. In general the Sterling and or “925” stamp with a artist hallmark since the 1950’s was and is still used today. PICTURES:Please note that 99.9% of our photos are enlarged for better viewing and not the actual size. All of our pics are cropped to get a best view of the item from different angles. The pics are also lightened or darkened in order to show the item clearly. We also use clarity to bring out the best color the item will have. Some think this is deceptive.
