Rare Navajo Signed Sterling Silver Spider Naja 2-Strand Squash Blossom Necklace
Good Day to You! I have an Awesome Unique Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Pearl Beads and Spider Woman Squash Blossom Necklace. In my time of collecting Native American Jewelry I have never seen a Naja this unique and gorgeous. The Naja is a Spider with two turquoise cabochons with beautiful brown matrix. It stands 3 1/2 inches by 2 1/2 at its widest point. It is stamped “LG” with a pictograph (see pics). There are some very delicate hairline fractures on the surface of the stone (see pics) – potentially original in nature but can not confirm. It ends with sterling cones and traditional hook and eye clasp. The necklace is 28 inches long. It weights 113.46 grams. It has an age natural light patina that complements each bead.
