Large Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Turquoise Cuff Bracelet OLD And HEAVY

This listing is for a vintage Navajo cuff bracelet made of sterling silver and turquoise. PLEASE read entire description from top to bottom. I try to go above and beyond when describing pieces of this nature and value. Please pay close attention to measurements, especially with cuff bracelets… The last thing both of us need is to have to deal with a return. So kick back, dont be in a hurry, and take 5 minutes to process all the information below. This bracelet is gorgeous and in amazing condition!!! The Navajo made piece is made with 2 wide thick shanks that flare out wider toward each end. The top shank raises up in the center with a scalloped cutout creating a shadowbox. The shadowbox is long and follows the same design as the shank, being wider at each end. The remainder of the top shank carries deep hand stampings, from end to end, of classic Navajo designs. The inside of the shadowbox is adorned with 7 easter egg pastel turquoise stones. The stones sit securely in straight edge bezels over the dark oxidized bottom shank. The center stone has a sky blue hue and sits nearly flush with its bezel while the remaining 6 have a pastel green color and protrude from their bezels. They all have just a hint of matrix and the center stone looks to have a small speck of silver or pyrite within it…. Each stone is in excellent condition and finished with a high polished shine. The edges and ends of the cuff have been smoothed making application to the wrist comfortable. The silver used to creat this piece is thick and sturdy, leaving no room for adjustment. That being said, its a very comfortable cuff when worn on the correct sized wrist. This is a wonderful example of authentic mid-century Native American jewelry. It has been well taken care of over the years leaving it in its great vintage condition. This piece is waiting for a new home that will continue to look after it. Add this work of Art to your existing Native American jewelry collection or let it be the first piece in the collection youve always wanted. Cherish and enjoy this tangible asset for now….. LARGE Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Turquoise Cluster Cuff Bracelet

This listing is for a vintage Native American, Navajo hand-made cuff bracelet, made of sterling silver and turquoise. This cuff bracelet is a showstopper, dating back from the later mid-century (1970s- 1980s). Its in excellent vintage condition with its original patina and original stones. The cuff is made up of 4 round shanks, being thicker heavy gauge silver. At each end of the cuff where the 4 shanks meet, smooth end caps were applied for easy application to the wrist. The quadruple shank is very sturdy and doesnt have much give. Its a very well made solid piece. The Artist Hand carved each stone before placing them in finely etched sawtooth bezels. They have rich pastel blue and green colors with lighter matrixes running through out. Every stone is in mint condition with no cracks or inclusions and all are secure in their settings. The design is very ornate and symmetrical with each side of the cuff consisting of matching wing sections. The face of the cuff is the showcase for this piece. The thick bed of silver is oval in shape with the outer edge having a scalloped border and silver droplets in between. The silver has a dark oxidized finished adding great depth and dimension to the piece, causing the stones and silver work to pop. The center stone is quite large taking up half of the surface area for the front. Twisted rope surrounds the center stone before a row of large teardrop stones. Silver droplets rest between each teardrop stone and another twisted rope follows. The two wing sections follow the same silver work technique as the face. However, Begay changed it up a little with the stones. He used 2 of the large teardrop stones at the North and South ends of the wings but used a very uniquely shaped stone in the middle. This is definitely something you dont see often but it works and was beautifully well done. The back of the face is stamped with the Artists signature, W. Begay, a master Navajo silversmith. There is no sterling stamp however, the bracelet has been tested and verified as. This unique Navajo made piece will make a great addition to your existing Native American collection or it could be the the perfect piece to start one. Cherish and enjoy this cuff now…. Side Wings Measure – 2 Tall by 1 Wide. Center Stone Measures – 1-1/4 Long by 7/8 Wide. Teardrop Stones Measure – 7/16 Long by 1/4 Wide. Large Stones on Wings Measure – 1-3/8 Long by 1/4 Wide. Large Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Kingman Turquoise Cuff Bracelet 7.5 Wrist

Im proud to present this magnificent vintage Navajo cuff bracelet, made of solid sterling silver and gorgeous gem grade Turquoise. This piece is stunning!!! Weighing in at over 100 g rams it is sure to make a statement and be noticed. This vintage piece features polished semi free-form Kingman turquoise stones. All of the stones are in MINT condition and sit securely in raised sawtooth bezels. The stones are of high gem grade quality and each one is more beautiful than the one next to it… They truly have the most gorgeous colors of blue fading into light green. With flakes of gold Pyrite shimmering in the light and matrixes ranging from black to brown and white, you wont be disappointed at the quality of these stones. The Artist methodically placed each stone on this cuff. At the front center, larger stones were placed with smaller stones following down the sides. To finish off the design the Artist switched back to a large stone at each end of the cuff. Nestled between the stone settings are superior silver droplets while the edges of the bracelet are bordered with deep hand stamped silver patterns and accenting silver ropes that run from end to end. The bracelet is hand wrought, very wide, and made for a mans wrist. The silver used to make this piece is thick and of high quality therefore, the gap is NOT adjustable. When worn on the correct sized wrist it wears very comfortably. A fantastic piece hand made by Navajo Artist Mary Ann Spencer, this piece is sure to not disappoint. The design is simple, yet breathtakingly beautiful. A very well made solid cuff bracelet….
