This is a BEAUTIFUL piece. Inlay and Sterling Silver TURQUOISE CORAL LAPIS ONYX, BONE, Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet. Stamped Jim Harrison Sterling. Approximate Inside measurement end to end w out opening is 5″, plus opening or Gap of 1 1/8″ Bracelet is 1/4 wide. Biograghy from Pueblo Direct: Jimmy Harrison is an authentic Native American Indian. He is a member of the Red House Clan. He was born into the Navajo Reservation in 1952. Jim began his professional career as a jewelry craftsman in 1981. He was taught all the fundamentals of working with silver at the age of 16 when he enrolled in a silversmithing class in high school. He credits Preston Monongya and Jessie Monongya for his success as a fine jewelry artisan. They shared their techniques with him and opened up his mind to his own designs. His designs are reflective of the bright stars of the New Mexico nights and the geometric forms of the landscape. They all play a part in his finely detailed inlay jewelry. With sleek and contemporary shapes and designs, he manages to balance the flavor of tradition with his stylized approach to Indian imagery. It is believed that Preston, Jesse, and Jim were among the first jewelers to work extensively with inlay of multicolored stones and shells with silver. His designs continue to change and they include Hopi and Navajo Sunfaces, and the Yei- bei-chei. He experiments with landscapes and galaxies. On occasion, Jim adds a rug design as a border to his beautiful designs. The work of Jimmy Harrison is very distinctive and easily recognizable. He works primarily with sterling silver and authentic multi-colored inlayed stones such as, coral, turquoise, lapis, sugalite, mother of pearl stones, and other various materials. His colorful and innovative inlays in his jewelry are inspired by the natural gifts that Mother Earth and Father Sky provide to each and every one of us. RARE Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Turquoise Multi Stone Inlay Cuff Bracelet

This listing is for a rare and valuable Navajo handcrafted cuff bracelet, made of sterling silver and multiple gemstone inlays. This desirable cuff bracelet was expertly crafted by the well known and renowned Navajo Artist, Ray Tracey Knifewing. Made with a heavier gauge solid silver, the single shank cuff is strong and sturdy. The entire face of the cuff features flush inlaid gemstones from end to end. The three stones chosen for this piece were turquoise, pink coral, and sugilite…… Pink, purple, and turquoise, a girls dream color combo! Each stone was hand cut into 4 sided rectangles and precisely placed within the cuff face. The turquoise has a pale sky blue hue with some stones having no matrix at all and others having heavy dark spiderwebbed matrixes. The coral has a hazy shade of pinkish orange with subtle matrix lines running throughout. The sugilite has several shades of purple ranging from a light pinkish purple to a dark purple. In total, there are 69 stone inlays, with 28 turquoise, 23 sugilite, and 18 coral. The three colors contrast nicely together creating a soft feminine look. Wafer-thin silver channels are placed throughout the face as well, running North to South. There are a total of 24 silver channels. The silver used to create the cuff is thick and hearty, so there is no give at the gap. Its a very solid well made bracelet weighing in at 71 grams. The ends of the cuff have smooth edges making application to the wrist comfortable and effortless. The Artists signature Picto hallmark along with a sterling stamp resides on the inside of the cuff. A gorgeous piece with an intricate and complex design, great for todays trending bohemian styles and perfect to stack with other cuffs. This listing is for a superbly handcrafted early Navajo cuff bracelet by Charlie Bowie. It is made of sterling silver and multiple stone inlays of Mediterranean Coral, Onyx, Turquoise, and Gold-Lip Mother of Pearl. This is truly a fantastic find….. Being extremely rare and in excellent condition, this highly sought after Navajo design will be a treasured addition to your collection of fine Native American jewelry. For the avid collector, this tangible asset is not one to pass up. The cuff is made with a thick and wide solid silver shank. The front center carries a raised silver plate featuring a raised cardinal inlay, using red mediterranean coral and onyx. The cardinal is perched on a branch made from deep hand stampings along with turquoise leaf inlays and a flower inlay of coral. Triangular inlays of green turquoise frame the center display and are set flush in the silver plate. Moving down the sides of the cuff all the way to the ends are slightly raised inlays of light blue turquoise and gold-lip mother of pearl. Wafer thin channels of silver run between the stones spacing them apart evenly. They have a high polished finish and are cut in triangular shapes, with the exception of the last inlay at each end which are quadrilateral in shape with 4 sides. Bowie used turquoise at one end and GLMOP on the other end. Small details like this truly make this piece standout from the rest. The design is finished off with loosely hand twisted rope resting in deep cutout valleys at each side of the cuffs edges….. Truly a beautiful handcrafted piece by Navajo Artist, Bowie. Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Channel Turquoise Cobblestone Inlay Cuff Bracelet

This listing is for a vintage Navajo handcrafted cuff bracelet made of sterling silver and turquoise. This is a well made cuff featuring 4 raised stone inlays on each side of the cuff face. The stones are set in a cobblestone fashion with a thick silver channel running between two of the stones on each side. They have a gorgeous opaque hue of blue green with subtle matrixes and a high shine polished finish. Each turquoise stone is in mint condition with no cracks or inclusions, obviously a very well looked after piece. The pillowy stones travel deep into the cuff, due to the design of the shank. The base of the cuff is made with a wide single shank, with the front having a dark oxidization. The Artist then applied 5 silver channels running from end to end, creating deep valleys between them. The three center channels are straight and rigid giving the illusion of depth and dimension against the dark oxidized shank below them. The two outer channels are slightly longer but are pushed inward and made flush with the others. The outer channels help hold the stones in place and help finish the cuff with a clean sleek design. The 9th photo in the listing helps to better understand how the cuff was designed! The silver used to create the cuff is thick and hearty and there is no give at the gap. Its a very sturdy and solid piece. A gorgeous handcrafted bracelet with a simple design, great for todays trending bohemian styles and perfect to stack with other cuffs. Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Turquoise Cobblestone Inlay Cuff Bracelet

This listing is for a vintage Navajo Native American sterling silver and multi-stone cuff bracelet. This desirable style cuff bracelet contains raised stone inlays from end to end in a cobblestone fashion. The stones have bold contrasting color qualities. The most obvious stone used is turquoise with heavy black spider web matrixes. Mother of pearl and blue lapis is also used to contrast against the green turquoise. Each stone is in great condition with no cracks or inclusions, obviously a very well looked after piece. The silver used to create the cuff is thick and hearty and there is no give at the gap. Its a very solid well made bracelet. The front center edges of the cuff have hand stampings and classic Navajo cutouts to the silver and then continues to the gap sleek and smooth. A gorgeous piece with a simple yet colorful design, great for todays trending bohemian styles and perfect to stack with other cuffs. A wonderful addition to any existing Native American collection or the perfect piece to start one…. Cherish and enjoy this cuff for now…. And hand it down to loved ones in the future. Weight – 42 Grams. Inner circumference end to end – 5-1/4. Gap – 1-3/8 (NOT ADJUSTABLE). Total circumference including gap – 6-5/8 (due to the larger gap, this cuff will only fit a wrist between a 6-1/4 and 6-1/2). Width of cuff – 11/16 wide – (Just under 3/4). Inlay section measures – 6-1/8 long by 3/8 wide. Stone Inlays – There are 12 turquoise stones, 3 blue lapis stones, and 2 mother of pearl inlays…. For a total of 17 stone inlays. Signed by Artist – YES, with the initials of Navajo Artist, Steve Francisco. Stamped Sterling – YES, tested and verified. Later mid-century +, late 80s – early 90s. Condition – Preowned, in excellent vintage condition with all original stone inlays and slightly aged patina, ready to wear or display. I treat every item as if it were my own.
