Just like the finest of Old Pieces… Many Years ago the Navajo could not afford Sterling would melt down their Silver coins in a pot over the fire to make Jewelry, and even made beautiful pieces out of the Coins themselves. Many of the Coin designs are replicated today, and Mercury Dimes were one of the most commonly used Coins in their Designs. They were used for Rings, Bracelets, Pendants, Earrings, and were even Domed & Soldered together into the Mercury Dime Navajo Necklaces that are so valuable & highly sought after by collectors. The Mercury Dimes used on this particular Bracelet all hail from the 1940’s, and I attached each one with a. HEAVY, ULTRA THICK Oval Sterling Jumpring- (the SAME EXACT Links as the Link Bracelet is made of), to Securely Attach the Old Mercury Dimes, and make the Bracelet even MORE Sturdy for your daily wear. It’s Substantial, (yet COMFY), simply due to the abundance of STERLING SILVER & CHUNKY PENDANTS, & 1/2 Dozen Mercury Dimes, but NOT TOO WEIGHTY, and the Pieces are NOT outrageously Long, either.
