This is a Vintage Native American Navajo Turquoise Cuff Bracelet Hallmarked Handmade Sterling Silver 33 Grams. The bracelet features a beautiful turquoise stone with tan spider web matrix, rope twist wire, hand-dropped raindrops, and stamp decoration. There is lovely natural age patina/tarnish. The bracelet weighs 33 grams and measures 5 1/4 inches, plus a 1 1/8 inch gap, for a total of 6 3/8 inches. The width measures 1 inch. The bracelet is a too big for my 6 1/4 inch wrist mainly because the gap is too wide. There is NO flexibility for size adjustment, and it is not recommended. This is a BEAUTIFUL piece. Inlay and Sterling Silver TURQUOISE CORAL LAPIS ONYX, BONE, Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet. Stamped Jim Harrison Sterling. Approximate Inside measurement end to end w out opening is 5″, plus opening or Gap of 1 1/8″ Bracelet is 1/4 wide. Biograghy from Pueblo Direct: Jimmy Harrison is an authentic Native American Indian. He is a member of the Red House Clan. He was born into the Navajo Reservation in 1952. Jim began his professional career as a jewelry craftsman in 1981. He was taught all the fundamentals of working with silver at the age of 16 when he enrolled in a silversmithing class in high school. He credits Preston Monongya and Jessie Monongya for his success as a fine jewelry artisan. They shared their techniques with him and opened up his mind to his own designs. His designs are reflective of the bright stars of the New Mexico nights and the geometric forms of the landscape. They all play a part in his finely detailed inlay jewelry. With sleek and contemporary shapes and designs, he manages to balance the flavor of tradition with his stylized approach to Indian imagery. It is believed that Preston, Jesse, and Jim were among the first jewelers to work extensively with inlay of multicolored stones and shells with silver. His designs continue to change and they include Hopi and Navajo Sunfaces, and the Yei- bei-chei. He experiments with landscapes and galaxies. On occasion, Jim adds a rug design as a border to his beautiful designs. The work of Jimmy Harrison is very distinctive and easily recognizable. He works primarily with sterling silver and authentic multi-colored inlayed stones such as, coral, turquoise, lapis, sugalite, mother of pearl stones, and other various materials. His colorful and innovative inlays in his jewelry are inspired by the natural gifts that Mother Earth and Father Sky provide to each and every one of us. His creations include rings, necklaces, bolos, bracelets, earrings, and concho belts. He stamps his jewelry as, Jimmy Harrison. UNIQUE Large Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Turquoise Coral Cuff Bracelet

This listing is for a vintage Navajo cuff bracelet made of sterling silver, turquoise, and coral. This handcrafted Navajo piece has a unique and rare design using a natural unstabalized turquoise stone and highly polished coral stones. A heavier gauge, triple silver shank makes up the cuff with classic hand stampings and squared off ends. Smooth comfort tips were applied to each end for an easy application to the wrist. This piece was designed to have somewhat of a simple shank, making sure most of the attention was directed towards the face. The center stone is a large 4 sided slab of natural turquoise set in a straight edge bezel. The stone has heavy texturized matrixes with blue and green color hues peeking through. On each side of the turquoise, coral stones also rest in straight bezels. They have a smooth high polished finish and a unique long and thin shape. Large silver droplets rest at the north and south ends of each coral, as well as each outer edge, for a total of 6 droplets. Weighing in at nearly 80 grams, this is a solid and sturdy made piece. Its larger and wider than most pieces but has a dainty feminine look to it. A very well made piece with beautiful contrasting stones over clean silver work.
