Listed here is a beautiful ring handmade by Navajo jewelry artist, Amelia Joe-Chandler. It features an 11/16″ by 1 1/4″ rectangular cut sterling silver piece with an overlaid rug design in copper and an oval-shaped verascite stone set in a bezel. The ring is size 7.5 and weighs 10 grams. It is stamped with the artist’s hallmark and initials on the back. Amelia Joe-Chandler has won many prestigious awards, including Artist of the Year for the Indian Arts and Crafts Association. She is known for her very innovative designs that although contemporary in look pay homage to her traditional roots. Is from my personal collection. It’s a bit too large on me and has only been worn a few times. It is in excellent condition. It has developed a beautiful vintage patina over the years, so I have left it unpolished.
