This beautiful vintage Native American handmade turquoise and Sterling silver bracelet created by Navajo, Dine’, artist Kirk Smith. Smith hand cut, shaped and polished 42 matched round snake-eye, two smaller. 50, and one larger (1 X 1.25) rectangular turquoise stones. These are arranged into three flower head clusters decorating a shank formed from five thick triangular wires soldered together at the terminals. KIRK SMITH Navajo / Dine; 1957 2012. One of the most skilled practitioners of the Classic Navajo Revivalist style. He was taught by his brother-in-law, Harry Morgan. Many of my bracelets have been on display in my home only. Outstanding bracelet showcasing 73 turquoise stones, in various shades of blue and green, set in serrated bezels, adorned with silver raindrops, and distributed in concentric circles and side clusters. The largest center stone measures 1 6/16″ by 5/8″, bezel to bezel. The moderate patina was left untouched. This piece weighs approximately 97 grams, it’s 2 13/16″ wide, and about 5 3/4″ around the inside, end to end, measured from the center of the cuff. The gap is about 1.
