This listing features a very unusual vintage Navajo ring, handcrafted with Sterling Silver and Natural Blue Diamond Turquoise. Handcrafted in the early mid century by an unknown Navajo Artist, this vintage ring features an untreated Blue Diamond Turquoise stone. The stone is set in a deep bezel with a silver leaf appliqué creating a unique design. The leaf wraps around one side of the stone within the bezel while followed by unusual silver works along the edge of face. It’s a hearty piece at over 20 grams and in good vintage condition. The back of the ring has a thick single shank that was clearly all handcrafted. The band has a smooth high polished finish before meeting the face and is in perfect round condition. There is no signature or sterling stamp, which is very common of this era, however the silver has been tested and proves to be sterling. A very unique Navajo ring with a beautiful old stone. Will make a great addition to any vintage collection of Native American jewelry. Enjoy this Navajo ring before handing it down to a loved one in the future. Weight – 21 Grams. Ring Face Measurements – The ring face measures 1-1/2″ long by just under 1″ wide. Stone Measurements – The stone and leaf appliqué measure just a hair under 1-1/4″ long by 5/8″ wide. Shank Measurements – At bottom center the shank measures 3/16″ wide and widens too 1/2″ on each side before all of the unusual silver work begins. Signed by Artist – NO. Stamped Sterling – NO, tested and verified. 925 sterling silver guaranteed. Mid Century, 1950’s+. Condition – Preowned, in very good vintage condition with original stone and slightly aged patina, ready to wear or display. I treat every item as if it were my own.
