1970’s Vintage Navajo Sleeping Beauty Turquoise Squash Blossom Necklace

5 MINUTES AFTER LISTING THIS NECKLACE YESTERDAY, ONE END OF THE CLASP BROKE OFF, SCATTERING THE FIFTEEN BEADS. I HAVE RETRIEVED ALL OF THEM NOW!! Classic 1970’s design. From the beads and the pendant, to the way it was constructed, you can tell this Squash Blossom necklace is from the 70’s! Completely handmade in sterling silver with Sleeping Beauty turquoise. The clasp is the traditional wire hook and loop. The back of the pendant has 2 heavy strips of silver, to which everything is soldered. The necklace is approximately 14 inches long. The beads measure 8.3 or so to just under 9mm Please check out the pictures. She would then take it back to Ohio and sell it. She kept a few pieces, either to wear, or because they went unsold. This beautiful necklace was made with sterling silver bench beads and a hand made long link chain. The pendant is also sterling silver. The piece has a nice aged patina and is in excellent condition. Length is 17.5 inches, with a 4″ extension chain for a total length of 21.5″. The bench beads are 9 mm round. The pendant is 1 3/4 long and 12 mm wide. Weight is 20.29 grams.
