Listed here is a beautiful ring handmade by Navajo jewelry artist, Amelia Joe-Chandler. It features an 11/16″ by 1 1/4″ rectangular cut sterling silver piece with an overlaid rug design in copper and an oval-shaped verascite stone set in a bezel. The ring is size 7.5 and weighs 10 grams. It is stamped with the artist’s hallmark and initials on the back. Amelia Joe-Chandler has won many prestigious awards, including Artist of the Year for the Indian Arts and Crafts Association. She is known for her very innovative designs that although contemporary in look pay homage to her traditional roots. Is from my personal collection. It’s a bit too large on me and has only been worn a few times. It is in excellent condition. It has developed a beautiful vintage patina over the years, so I have left it unpolished. Lovely traditional vintage Navajo sterling silver, turquoise nugget and coral lavalier 19 inch necklace with intricate silver tool work featuring feathers, swirls, flowers and dew drops, a bright blue turquoise nugget with a black matrix and two oval shaped dark red coral pieces are set with scalloped bezels. Very well made piece that adds a splash of color without being overwhelming. Possibly for Ronnie Martinez, the style of this necklace suggests that it may have been made in the 1970s or early 1980s. Great pre-owned/ vintage condition with no issues that I can see and a rich even patina. Necklace Length: 19 (48.3 cm). Length of central lavalier section: 1-1/4 (3.2 cm). Weight: 20.46 grams. Vintage and/or antique merchandise may have some degree of visible wear and/or patina. This is considered normal and can be a part of the overall appeal and charm. Vintage OLD Navajo Sterling Silver High Grade Turquoise Cuff Bracelet STUNNING
This listing is for an earlier vintage Navajo cuff bracelet, handcrafted with Sterling Silver and Turquoise. NOTE: Please view all 21 photos. Last 3 photos show cuff on a 6-1/8 wrist. This vintage Navajo cuff bracelet has a unique design featuring a beautiful large turquoise stone. The stone is in excellent condition while resting tight and secure. Dense shades of blue to blue green are mixed with subtle light green and dark veiny matrixes. Truly, a gorgeous stone! The stone is surrounded by twisted rope followed by a square shaped bed of darkened oxidized silver, creating a beautiful contrast. Large clusters of silver droplets alternate with curling leaf appliqués bordering the edge of the face while creating somewhat of a shadowbox design around the stone. The stone and silver work rest over 3 sturdy graduating shanks, all in great condition. Side flanks rest on each side of the face adding stability to the shanks. This is a solid cuff but, the gap could be adjusted with careful force. There is no signature or sterling stamp which is common of earlier pieces. The silver has been tested and we guarantee its purity of. This Navajo cuff will make a great addition to any collection. It’s perfect for daily wear, comfortable, and pairs beautifully with today’s vintage trends. Cherish and enjoy this cuff before handing it down in the future. Weight – 52.3 Grams.
