Navajo Sterling Silver

This listing is for a vintage Navajo handcrafted cuff bracelet, made of sterling silver and gem grade Turquoise. Expertly handcrafted by Tom Lewis, this bracelet is a beauty and very comfortable on the wrist!! The wide single shank has an intricate contemporary design with scalloped edges and flared ends. Being made with a heavier gauge silver this cuff is very solid and doesnt have much give at the gap. The face of the wide shank is adorned with seven gem grade turquoise stones….. Possibly Royston, but not 100% sure of the mine…. The stones have very nice color qualities of pale green along with the slight yellow too brown matrixes. Finely etched sawtooth bezels hug each stone perfectly. The slight gap between each stone is dark with oxidation, adding depth and causing the stones to pop off the surface. Large silver droplets rest between the stones on each side of the cuff along with deep hand stampings along the scalloped edges. Towards each end of the cuff, the width tapers down and then flares back out with a stamped scalloped edge at each end. Truly a gorgeous well thought out design using the entire face of the cuff. A beautifully handcrafted piece, by the very talented Tom Lewis, that will make a wonderful addition to any Native American jewelry collection. Cherish and enjoy this piece for now…. Total size of cuff including gap – 6-9/16 (will fit a wrist between 6 and 6-3/8 comfortably). Width of cuff – 1-1/16 across the face, 7/8 wide at each end. Turquoise stones measure – 5/8 long by 5/16 wide. Stamped sterling – YES, tested and verified. Signed by Artist – YES, Navajo Artist; Tom Lewis. Later Mid-Century, 1980s. Condition – Preowned, in excellent vintage condition with original stones and slightly aged patina, ready to wear or display. I treat every item as if it were my own.
