This elegant handmade pearl necklace is crafted with a 10mm genuine AAA grade round freshwater pearl center bead, bright Bali beads, and sterling silver oxidized Navajo pearl beads with a rich lustrous patina. A touch of sparkle is added to the piece from the brilliant disk shaped sterling silver Bali beads. The graduated formal design integrates variations in texture and size resulting in a well balanced piece that exudes opulence, grace and style. A necklace that is worthy of any occasion from casual to formal, that will grace your neck with delicate femininity. The pattern starts with the large 10mm pearl center that tapers down to 3mm. Not dyed, treated or color enhanced. Photos taken outside in natural lighting and in a light box. No filters or color enhancements are added to the photos. The beads are strung on strong micro woven stainless steel beading wire with nylon coating. I use only the finest sterling silver findings. A designer swivel clasp that is easy to hold and open completes this necklace. The New World became known as the Land of Pearls. The beautiful Navajo Pearls are sterling silver beads traditionally made by Native American Navajo (Diné) silversmiths. Native American tribes were introduced to the technique of silversmithing by Spanish explorers in the late 1500’s. They then added this newly found craftsmanship to their traditional methods of bead making, leading to what we continue to admire today as sterling silver Navajo desert pearls. What set the Navajo Pearls apart from other beads is the light oxidized finish to the beads that lends character and depth to the finished piece. They are often paired with gemstones or mixed with multiple sizes and shapes to create beautiful patterns from simple to complex.
