


Unusual Vintage Navajo Indian Sterling Silver Brooch or Pin Depicting a Young Girl’s Dress, Signed with Monogram or Mark for Jabe Duboise, ca. This highly unusual Navajo silver pin depicts a young girl’s dress with fine stamped decorations including a corn plant suggesting promise of growth and fertility. Possibly a unique piece, it is signed with a monogram for Jabe Duboise and stamped “sterling”. It was probably made in the 1970’s-90’s in the Gallup, New Mexico area where the artist was the “Natnani Nez” or Head Man of a settlement called Jones Camp, New Mexco. Condition: Very Good with no losses, defects or repairs. Piece shows some minor wear. Dimensions: 1-3/4″ tall x 1-1/2″ wide. Total weight: 0.3 oz (8.5 g).
