Both unique with traditional silver stamping and blue and green turquoise stones at tips. Each spoon measures 4 inches long x. Great vintage condition with warm patina. Spoons and other flatware embellished with stamped images, were among the earliest products of Navajo silversmiths. Silversmiths responded to an influx of tourists traveling through the Southwest on the new transcontinental railroad – by producing some of their finest and most imaginative work. As Americans indulged a passion for collecting spoons and other fancy flatware, Navajo and Pueblo silver enjoyed tremendous popularity in the 1920’s and 30’s.
