This listing features a vintage Navajo handcrafted ring made of Sterling Silver and Gem Grade Turquoise. Size – Sits on my ring mandrel between 11 and 11.25. Weight – 15 Grams. Ring Face Measurements – 1-1/4″ tall by 7/8″ wide. Stone Measurements – 9/16″ tall by 7/16″ wide. Shank Measurements – Band measures 3/8″ wide at bottom center, and slightly widens too 5/8″ on each side where it meets the back of the ring face. Signed by Artist – Yes, signed along the inner shank, not legible to my eyes. Stamped Sterling – Yes, tested and verified. 925 sterling silver guaranteed. Later-Mid Century, 1970’s+. Condition – Preowned, in excellent vintage condition with original stone and naturally aged patina, ready to wear or display. Handcrafted in the later-mid century, this Navajo ring features a blue Turquoise stone centered over a large squared ring face. The stone portrays rich blue color hues along with burnt orange matrixes along one end. The stone rests securely in a straight bezel followed by a heavily stamped ring face. At the North and South ends of the face, silver overlays extend past the ring face, having deeply stamped symbols. The bezeled stone and silver work all rest over a wide shank. The band carries stampings matching those of the overlay and slightly tapers down in width towards the back of the finger. It’s a very strong and solid band, in perfect round wearable shape. The inner shank carries a sterling stamp and the Artist’s signature, which is so small I can’t make it out. A beautifully crafted design with a gorgeous blue stone, sure to attract attention, and perfect for today’s trending bohemian styles. This ring is waiting to be enjoyed for now….
