This is a rare old vintage NAVAJO Native American Indian Sterling Silver turquoise miniature child’s ranger belt buckle set in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, no dings or dents, there is patina. The buckle is 1 3/8 inches by 1 1/8 inches with an inside measurement of 3/8 where the belt would sit, the tip is 3/4 inch by 1/2 inch on the outside, 3/8 inch on the inside, the keepers are 5/8 inch by 3/8 inch, the set weighs 17.6 grams or. Native American Navajo Handmade 18G Sterling Silver 24 Linked Chain Necklace. Traditional sterling silver linked chain handmade by Navajo silversmith Sally Shirley. The artist hand wound sterling silver wire around the mandrel and flattened the wire with a mallet, then sawed, then linked and soldered, finally the chain is completed with hook and eye clasp. The entire process is easy but tedious and time consuming. The chain is black oxidized and slightly polished to create old style antiqued finish. This thick chain is great for wearing alone or adding a large old style Native American pendant. A beautiful Native American piece of jewelry to collect and wear! We guarantee the entire chain is sterling silver. Hook and eye closure. Each oval link measures about 1315mm long by 56mm wide. The chain is about 24 long. Weighs about 18.3 grams.
