This is an incredible, vintage Native American necklace by Navajo artist Jason Yazzie. The necklace consists of 4 sections of needlepoint Sleeping Beauty turquoise stones set in sterling silver. It is on a beautiful hand made chain in sterling silver. The necklace measures approx. The center section is about 3″ by 4 1/2″. The smaller ones on either side are 3″ by 1 1/8″. Signed by artist on the back Jason Yazzie. There is no purity mark, however it has been tested positive for sterling silver. The necklace is in excellent condition with vintage patina. The slide features a cluster of pear-shaped turquoise stones which surround a larger oval shaped centerpiece. All of the stones are bezel-set with fine tooth settings. Rope details and large raindrops between each border stone complete the look. The slide is etched with what looks like J. Vong on the back below the finding.
