This listing features a vintage Navajo ring, handcrafted with Sterling Silver and Kingman Turquoise. Handcrafted by Navajo Artist Gilbert Nelson, this ring features a beautiful High Grade Royston stone. The stone sits securely in a straight bezel followed by twisted rope and silver droplets. Vibrant color hues of green and blue-green are portrayed in the stone with subtle orange matrixes and a high polished finish. The back of the ring has an extra wide and sturdy shank, in perfect round wearable shape. The shank is adorned with deep stampings before splitting into 5 shanks where large stamped appliqués rest on each side. A sterling stamp is present along with the Artist’s signature on the back of the face. A classic Navajo ring with a gorgeous bright stone… Will make a great addition to any collection of Native American jewelry. Enjoy this ring before handing it down to a loved one in the future. Size – 6.75. Weight – 17 Grams. Ring Face Measurements – The ring face measures a little over 1″ long by just under 1″ wide and sits on top of the finger at 3/8 high. Stone Measurements – The stone measures 3/4″ long by 5/8″ wide. Shank Measurements – The shank measures 3/8 wide before splitting into 5 shanks. The split shanks have a spread of just over 3/4 wide when the meeting the back of the face. Signed by Artist – YES, stamped along the inner shank reading, “Gilbert Nelson”. Stamped Sterling – YES, tested and verified. Condition – Preowned, in excellent vintage condition with original stone and naturally aged patina, ready to wear or display.
