This listing is for a vintage Navajo cuff bracelet made of sterling silver and gem grade turquoise. This vintage handcrafted cuff has a classic Navajo design featuring three gorgeous gem grade stones resting over a quadruple shank. The stones are soooo beautiful! I cant express this enough. Resting in tall bezels, they have a high polished finish while portraying shades of cool Caribbean waters. The most obvious matrixes running through the stones are a burnt orangish color and look to rest on top of the stones. Deep subtle matrixes within the stones are also apparent causing a 4 dimensional effect. Like I said before, these stones are truly magnificent. The center stone is bordered by silver droplets to the North and South while larger droplets rest on each side of the shankit a very clean and simple design, making sure the attention is drawn to the stones. The 4 shanks are round in shape with hand stamped end caps applied at each end. Weighing in at just under 90 grams, this is a very solid and sturdy made piece with no flex. A sterling stamp resides on the inner cuff along with the Artists initials, HV. Many people are lead to believe that this is the hallmark for the late Hopi Artist, Homer Vance, but it is in fact NOTas of right now we dont know who this Artist is/was. This Navajo made piece will make a great addition to your existing collection of fine Native American jewelry…… Or it could be the the perfect piece to start one! Total Inner Circumference Including Gap – 6-5/8 (should fit a wrist measuring 6-1/2 comfortably, due to the larger gap this cuff will not fit a wrist much smaller than 6-1/2 because it will fall off easily). Width of cuff – 1-5/8 wide at front center, 1-1/4 wide at each outer stone, and just over 1/2 wide at each end. Stones measure – center stone measures 1-1/4 tall by 1 wide, two outer stones measure 1-1/4 tall by 3/4 wide. Signed By Artist – YES, By an unknown Navajo Artist of the later mid century with initials HV. Stamped Sterling – YES, tested and verified. Later Mid-Century, 1970s+. Condition – Preowned, in excellent vintage condition, with original stones and naturally aged patina, ready to wear or display. I treat every item as if it were my own.
