Sonoran Gold Turquoise is found in Sonora Mexico. It is prized for its color depth of Greens, Blues, and Yellow and Gold Matrices. Sonoran Gold Turquoise is mined in Sonora, Mexico near the city of Cananea. The mine is located at the Campitos Mountain just outside of the city, only about a 35-mile drive from the Arizona border. Chester guerro Birthplace 1940 New Mexico. I taught myself to be a silversmith. I learned by watching others make jewelry and looking at jewelry in books. I mostly care about the quality of my product not the quantity. I sign my jewelry with the initials CG my first love silversmithing. My hobbies are making jewelry, listening to music, gardening, sewing, cooking, reading, doing beadwork and traveling. I enjoy keeping active by dancing and exercise.
