Ring Face Measurements – The ring face measures just over 1-3/4″ long by just under 1″ wide, the ring face and stone sit on top of the finger at approximately 3/8 high. Stone Measurements – The stone measures 1-5/8″ long by 3/4″ wide. Signed by Artist – YES, signed J. Platero for Navajo Husband and Wife Artists Jack & Betty Platero. Stamped Sterling – YES, tested and verified. 925 sterling silver guaranteed. Mid Century, 1970’s+. Condition – Preowned, in excellent vintage condition with original stone and slightly aged patina, ready to wear or display. Handcrafted in the later-mid century by Navajo duo Artists, Jack & Betty Platero, this vintage ring features a large Turquoise stone set in sterling silver. The stone has a smooth satin polished finish while portraying deep blue green color hues. Heavy distinct matrixes run throughout the stone creating a dark and enchantingly beautiful stone. Resting in a straight bezel, the stone sits securely while surrounded by a border of twisted rope. It’s a classic and simple design so that all the attention is drawn to the large stone. The stone and silver work all rest over a bed of solid silver with a sturdy split shank band. The band is in perfect round wearable shape.
