This modern handmade pearl necklace is crafted with 6mm genuine AAA grade round freshwater pearls exhibiting high luster, bright Bali beads, and sterling silver oxidized Navajo pearl beads, with a rich lustrous patina. A touch of sparkle is added to the piece from the brilliant disk shaped sterling silver Bali beads. The overall design results in a well balanced piece of modern minimalism, that is worthy of any occasion from casual to formal. This necklace has a monochromatic color scheme, and has a simple streamlined appearance resulting from the alternating repetitive simple pattern. The light and dark beads are complimentary shades, which create a timeless and sophisticated mood on the wearer. The beads contrast beautifully with each other and “burst”, giving the piece visual interest and character. Pair this with your favorite strand of pearls or Navajo pearls for a layered look. Not dyed, treated or color enhanced. Photos taken outside in natural lighting and in a light box. No filters or color enhancements are added to the photos. The beads are strung on strong micro woven stainless steel beading wire with nylon coating. I use only the finest sterling silver findings. A designer swivel clasp that is easy to hold and open completes this necklace. I offer this in lengths; choker 16″ – 60″, the longer lengths can be wrapped around the neck to give a multi necklace layered look. Please select your size and finish from the drop down menu. Native American tribes were introduced to the technique of silversmithing by Spanish explorers in the late 1500’s. They then added this newly found craftsmanship to their traditional methods of bead making, leading to what we continue to admire today as sterling silver Navajo desert pearls. What set the Navajo Pearls apart from other beads is the light oxidized finish to the beads that lends character and depth to the finished piece. They are often paired with gemstones or mixed with multiple sizes and shapes to create beautiful patterns from simple to complex.
