This listing is for a vintage Navajo ring handcrafted from Sterling Silver and Kingman Turquoise. Handcrafted in the later-mid century by an unidentified Navajo Artist, this unique vintage ring features a single turquoise stone at the center of a scalloped shadowbox surrounded by a star like shaped edge. The stone portrays bold blue color hues and dark natural matrixes running throughout. The stone sits securely in its bezel while resting over a thick bed of oxidized silver. The back of the ring has a sturdy double fused split shank in good round shape. There is no signature or sterling stamp but, testing proves the silver to be sterling. A well crafted Navajo piece in beautiful condition. Enjoy this Navajo ring before handing it down to a loved one in the future. Size – The ring sits between a 6.5 and 6.75 on a ring mandrel. Weight – 8 Grams. Ring Face Measurements – The ring face measures 1-5/16″ tall by just under 1″ wide. Stone Measurements – The stone measures about 3/8″ long by 1/4″ wide. Signed by Artist – NO. Vintage Navajo Native American Sterling Silver Morenci Turquoise Pin / Pendant

On offer is an authentic vintage NAVAJO hand wrought. 925 sterling silver pin/pendant adorned with a large beautiful southwestern sky blue hand cut and polished gem quality turquoise stone that is typical of the Morenci, Arizona mine region. This pin/pendant is not hallmarked which was quite common in the earlier Native American silver work prior to the 1970’s. We believe this piece was created circa 1960 or perhaps earlier. This stunning turquoise pin/pendant was skillfully crafted with attention to detail, and is in very good vintage condition (see ALL photos for an accurate detailed depiction). The pin back is in good working order. The hand cut and polished southwestern sky blue cabochon turquoise stone has the pyrite inclusions and black matrix that are characteristic of Morenci material. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks and is firmly set in a plain silver bezel. Overall, this pin/pendant measures approx. 1 1/2″ long x 1 3/16″ at widest. The stone measures approx. 1 1/8″ long x 13/16″ at widest. The pin/pendant weighs 15.7 grams. 925 sterling silver and southwestern sky blue Morenci turquoise pin/pendant would make an outstanding addition to any Twentieth Century Native American Silver and Stone Jewelry, American Turquoise or Historic Cultural Arts and Crafts collection. We have been involved in the design and creation of contemporary jewelry at the undergraduate and postgraduate level since 1967. In 1975 we opened a gallery of hand wrought fine art contemporary jewels and have since handled thousands of unique, one of a kind and limited edition pieces crafted predominantly by American artisans with a special emphasis on Native American Art. Rare One Of A Kind Morning Singer Kachina & Billiken Sterling Silver Turquoise Native American Navajo Bolo Tie. Signed by artist Sam W. There is a Masonic Fraternity called “The Kachina Billiken Club” AKA “The Masonic Royal Order of Jesters Kachina Club” which originated in Tempe, Arizona, it’s members are Shriners. Starting in the 1960’s incredible silversmiths like Navajo Sam W. Graves were commissioned to make these Billiken Kachinas for this Fraternity. 4 large beautiful turquoise stones with tons of pyrite matrix and two tiny stones make up the eyes. It has beautiful intricate silver work. 3.75″ long 2″ wide, cord is 42 long. This is a very vintage item and like most vintage pieces it has scratches, scuffs and wear.
