This listing features a vintage Navajo ring, made of sterling silver and multiple micro stone inlays. Handcrafted in the later mid century, this Navajo ring has a modern design being handcrafted from a thick shank of silver graduating in width. The ring features an incredible display of tiny micro stone inlays which create a rainbow man/kachina design. The flush set stones lay against one another seamlessly and sit slightly raised over the shank. Each tiny stone is in excellent condition showing no signs of cracks or chips. Counting the individual inlays proved to be too difficult but, there’s well over 300 stones covering the band. The majority of the inlays are turquoise, portraying bright Caribbean blue color hues. The rest of the inlays include coral, lapis, black onyx, amethyst, and more. A sterling stamp resides along the inner shank along with the Artist’s initials of NG. The ring wears comfortably on the finger and stacks nicely with other rings. The sleek modern design is comparable with today’s trending boho fashion and perfect for daily wear. The width slowly tapers all the way around to the opposite end where it measures 5mm wide (3/16). The silver shank has a depth/thickness of 4mm (1/8) all the way around. That does not include the raised stones which sit raised on the band at 1mm high. Signed By Artist – YES, with initials NG. Stamped Sterling – YES, tested and verified. Later-Mid century, 1980’s+.
