This is an Old Navajo Turquoise Thunderbird Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet Fred Harvey Era. This Fred Harvey era handmade thunderbird bracelet features a thunderbird appliqué with oval turquoise stone, fluted buttons, and stamp decoration including arrows. The bracelet is unmarked but tests positive for sterling silver. There is natural age patina/tarnish. The bracelet measures 5 1/2 inches, plus a gap of 1 1/8 inch, for a total of 6 5/8 inches. The width is 3/4 inch. The bracelet weighs 15 grams. The bracelet is a little too big for my 6 1/4 inch wrist (gap is too wide), and there is a little flexibility for size adjustment but it is not recommended. This handmade Fred Harvey era cuff bracelet features three oval turquoise stones set in a plain bezel accented with stamp decoration and half-raindrops. The bracelet cuff has unique stamp decoration. The bracelet tests positive for sterling silver, and there is natural age patina/tarnish. The bracelet measures 5 3/8 inches, plus a 1 inch gap, for a total of 6 3/8 inches. The width measures 5/8 inch. The bracelet fits my 6 1/4 inch wrist. There is a some flexibility for size adjustment but it is not recommended. The bracelet weighs 17 grams. Description: Here is a great older bracelet from the Fred Harvey Era. This one is handmade and has a nice, hefty feel to it. It is set with a square cut turquoise stone. It is sterling silver or at least coin silver. Maker: Unmarked, as was common of jewelry from this time period. Age: Circa 1940s – 50s. Size: Inside circumference measures approx. 5-1/2″ with an additional 1-1/4″ opening fits a 6-1/2 wrist. 1 at its widest part and weighs 44.2g. Condition: Good for its age.
