This listing features a vintage Navajo handcrafted ring, made with Sterling Silver and Turquoise. Size – 5.5. Weight – 11 Grams. Ring face measurements – Face measures just under 1″ in diameter at widest point, and sits on top of the finger at approximately 1/2″ high!! Stone measurements – The center stone measures 3/16″ in diameter(width), while the 8 remaining flower petal stones measure 5/16″ long by 1/8 wide. Signed by Artist – NO. Stamped Sterling – NO, tested and verified. Mid too Later-Mid Century, 1970’s+. Condition – Preowned, in excellent vintage condition with all original stones and slightly aged patina, ready to wear or display. Expertly handcrafted by an unknown Navajo Artist in the mid century, this unique cluster design features a flower like display of natural turquoise stones. Situated in deep bezels, the stones rest over a thick bed of silver while being surrounded by silver droplets and classic twisted rope. All of the stones are secure and in excellent condition with a satin polished finish. Heavy matrixes run throughout the stones with the turquoise ranging in color from blue to green. This piece is highly prized due to the intricate detail of several twisted ropes making up the bottom portion of the face and shank. The shank is compromised of 4 silver ropes that span out along the sides before reaching 2 additional halo ropes making up the undercarriage of the face. This ring sits high on the finger at nearly 1/2 and wears beautifully as well as comfortably. This beautiful piece of authentic Navajo jewelry will make a great addition to any collection of fine Native American jewelry. Cherish and enjoy this Navajo design for now….
