Large Sterling Turquoise Squash Blossom Cluster Necklace 3 Pendant

Large and beautiful turquoise necklace. The cluster pendant is 3 inches in diameter. The side pieces are 4 inches long and the small piece attaching the pendant is 1 1/2 inches. The color of the turquoise in this necklace is spectacular. It is detailed with what appears to be a small rope design or it could be small sterling dots around the pendant and the necklace. Sawtooth bezels hold the turquoise in securely. It is stamped Sterling with the initials JW for Navajo Juliana Williams. It is lightweight enough to be comfortable wearing it all day long. Turquoise and Sterling Silver. 1-7/8 wide 5 end to end plus 1 non-adjustable opening. 117.9 Grams of. Thick Gauge Sterling Silver. In Excellent Vintage Condition. No damage to turquoise or silver. This beautiful vintage Native American handmade turquoise and Sterling silver bracelet created by Navajo, Dine’, artist Kirk Smith. Smith hand cut, shaped and polished 42 matched round snake-eye, two smaller. 50, and one larger (1 X 1.25) rectangular turquoise stones. These are arranged into three flower head clusters decorating a shank formed from five thick triangular wires soldered together at the terminals. KIRK SMITH Navajo / Dine; 1957 2012. One of the most skilled practitioners of the Classic Navajo Revivalist style. He was taught by his brother-in-law, Harry Morgan. Many of my bracelets have been on display in my home only.
