Old Southwestern Native American Indian turquoise Sterling silver stamped Thunderbird pin / brooch, unmarked but most likely Navajo. The beautifully stamped bird is adorned by a single stone set in a smooth bezel, in the center of the chest. This classic Navajo pin weighs approximately 11.5 grams, and it’s 1 1/4″ tall by 3 5/16″ wide, from wing tip to wing tip. The Thunderbird is a Native American symbol often viewed as a good omen of victory in tribal wars fought on the ground. Thank you for supporting authentic Native American art. Navajo Handmade Sterling Brooch/Pin/Pendant – Circa 1950’s or 60’s. This is well done, a super amazing display of wearing art! Simply Gorgeous – RARE – HARD TO FIND! Circa 1960’s – Nice Patina/Tarnish – Marked, tested as Sterling Silver, Marked LW. Tested as STERLING Silver – Weighs 13.7 grams. Measures 1 3/4″ tall and 1 3/4″ across. It is in great shape for its age!!
