This Beautiful necklace is crafted using large 8mm and 5mm sterling silver Native American style Navajo pearl beads, strung in an alternating pattern to create an eye catching statement piece. The overall design results in a well balanced piece of southwestern charm that is worthy of any occasion from casual to formal. Navajo Pearls are sterling silver beads traditionally made by Native American Navajo (Diné) silversmiths. Native American tribes were introduced to the technique of silversmithing by Spanish explorers in the late 1500’s. They then added this newly found craftsmanship to their traditional methods of bead making, leading to what we continue to admire today as sterling silver Navajo desert pearls. What set the Navajo Pearls apart from other beads is the light oxidized finish to the beads that lends character and depth to the finished piece. They are often paired with gemstones or mixed with multiple sizes and shapes to create beautiful patterns from simple to complex. Photos taken outside in natural lighting and in a light box. No filters or color enhancements are added to the photos. The beads are strung on strong 49 micro woven stainless steel beading wire with nylon coating. We use only the finest brightly polished sterling silver findings. The superior quality large lobster claw clasp which is easy to hold and open completes this necklace. We offer this in lengths from a 14″ choker up to 28″ in length. Please select your size and finish from the drop down menu. Beautiful Native American varying shades of blue and green Fox turquoise? Sterling silver squash blossom bead necklace. This outstanding necklace showcases a naja pendant with 3 turquoise stones, about 2 5/8″ x 2 5/16″, set in smooth bezels wrapped in twisted wire, and adorned with silver raindrops. The larger naja is stone 11/16″ by just over 1/2″, bezel to bezel. The blossoms are between 1 1/2″ and 1 3/4″ tall with various width measurements depending on the shape and size of the stone. This necklace has a total of 15 turquoise cabochons on the blossoms and naja, all lightly polished, almost a matte finish. The largest blossom stone is just shy of 1″ by about 11/16″, from bezel to bezel. This traditional piece weighs a hefty 163.3 grams!! The necklace is approximately 26 5/8 long from hook to eye. Superb stones and craftsmanship. Thank you for supporting authentic Native American art. Additional notes: One of the naja stones has a hairline with a tiny chip. These stones are only lightly polished to retain their natural pits and inclusions for a more natural look. All measurements are approximations. Please measure your wrist.
