Hand-made with natural Turquoise cabochons and Sterling Silver, this necklace is sure to be a treasured work of Art for its new owner. It doesnt get much better than this… This necklace was hand-made by a Native American Navajo Artist. It isnt your average everyday Squash Blossom necklace. It is the largest and heaviest Ive ever come across and very well made with heavy gauge sterling silver and the most beautiful natural Turquoise. The stones are all original and in good condition as they sit inside saw tooth bezels. All 99 stones are different and unique in their own way with some having matrixes and some not. The blue and green colors of the stones are bold and vividly stunning… I honestly cant say enough about them. The Naja is very large and ornate with a scalloped edge and 29 stones situated symmetrically over a thick bed of silver. The Artist also applied classic silver raindrops to accompany the stones. The 10 squash blossoms are just as beautiful and coincide perfectly with the Naja. Each blossom has a scalloped edge and contains 7 stones. One stone is centered and surrounded by twisted rope, and 6 are surrounding the center Stone with a single raindrop in between each one. The flutes are made of sturdy solid silver and have 4 ends opposed to the typical 3. The hand-made bench beads are in great condition with no dents and are strung on a thick and sturdy braided fox tail chain. As you can see this necklace has a 4 strand chain of hand made bench beads. This necklace is heavy and the Artist made sure to use 4 strands instead of the standard 2 strand. The 4 strands turn into 2 strands at the sides near the collar bone for comfort and easy wearability. The hook and eye clasp is also handmade and larger than most. This item has not been cleaned or polished. It has been left in its original state. This work of Art is literally a masterpiece, one that will last for years and be handed down for generations. Keep in mind this is not a piece that should be worn on a regular basis. It was made for special ceremonies or to be displayed. If you are a collector of Native American jewelry then this item is a must have!!! It would also look very nice displayed in a shop…. Hand it down to loved ones in the future.
