This is a Vintage Navajo Pearls Turquoise Bead Pendant Necklace Sterling Silver 21.5 Inch. This 21 1/2 inch Navajo Pearls and turquoise pendant necklace has a beautiful turquoise stone surrounded by rope twist wire and stamp decoration. The chain features sterling silver bench beads with a hook and eye closure on wire cable. The unmarked necklace tests positive for sterling silver and weighs 35 grams. The pendant backing was made by the artist from sterling that did not quite fit the front. The pendant measures 1 3/8 x 1 inches, including the bail. Vintage 10-piece Navajo sterling silver concho belt with turquoise & coral chip inlay. Created by Navajo silversmith Gilbert Damon of Farmington, New Mexico. Hand stamping, inlay depicts Yei / kachinas with corn plant. Includes 1 buckle, 9 conchos, one belt. End to end: about 36. Buckle about 74 grams. Each concho slide about 51 grams. Buckle dimensions: about 3 3/4″ x 2 5/8″, opening just under about 1 1/2. Concho dimensions: about 3 1/4″ x 2 1/8″ opening about 1 1/8. The silver is in excellent condition with typical wear and surface scratches. The stone has no damage, and has no movement or rattle. I believe the stone is Cloud Mountain, but I’m not positive of which mine it came from. It’s approximately size 6.5 on my mandrel, and it weighs 5.18 grams.
