Signed Vintage Navajo Native American Tooled Sterling Silver Wide Cuff Bracelet

On offer is an authentic, handsome vintage NAVAJO hand wrought. 925 sterling silver four (4) split band cuff bracelet adorned with classic fancy hand stamped stylized motifs on each side. This larger cuff bracelet is hallmarked Sterling, and W B most likely for the renowned artist maker WILSON BEGAY. We believe it was created circa 1980. This fine cuff bracelet was expertly crafted in the traditional NAVAJO technique with attention to detail and is in very good vintage condition (please see ALL photos for an accurate detailed depiction). Overall, the cuff bracelet measures approx. 1″ tapering to 5/8″ wide. The interior circumference is approx. 7″ TOTAL including 1 1/4″ opening. It has some flexibility for careful adjusting and weighs 22.6 grams. 925 sterling silver cuff bracelet expertly crafted by the skilled artisan WILSON BEGAY would make a handsome addition to any Twentieth Century Native American Silver Jewelry, or Historic Cultural Arts and Crafts collection. We have been involved in the design and creation of contemporary jewelry at the undergraduate and postgraduate level since 1967. This ring features expertly beveled raised mosaic inlay done with pink coral, red coral, turquoise, and lapis with a sunface in the center. The ring is a size 7. The metal acid tests for sterling silver. The inside is marked “WM” for the Navajo silversmith Wilbert Manning. The ring was acquired directly from Wilbert. IN Signed Sterling Silver & Turquoise Concho Navajo Belt

This beautiful turquoise and sterling silver concho belt is signed “IN”, of the Navajo tribe. There are a total of 13 conchos, including the buckle. Each concho can be adjusted along the belt as desired, and there is enough room on the leather to customize a waist size. The full length of the belt is approximately 45 inches, and does contain a hole already punched for about a 36 inch waist. There are some light scratches, scuffs, and discolorations along the leather. There is patina on each concho; this can be easily cleaned if desired. The pictures provided will give you a good idea of the dimensions. The belt is not overly heavy and will look great with any outfit. This piece was merchandise in my mother’s now closed business. Signed TC 11+ozt Navajo 11 CONCHO BELT buckle Sterling Silver heavily Stamped

Signed Old Heavy Navajo. Sterling Silver Concho Belt. 11 Conchos + 1 Belt Buckle. 2.66″ X 2.1″. Tan Leather Belt is 38″ and is set up now for a 30.5″ – 34.5 waist. It may be modified to accommodate a smaller waist by adding an additional hole. 360.7 grams = 11.6 Troy ounces Total Weight. This great old Navajo Concho Belt was made by “TC”. But I’m not so sure about who crafted this one. Tom Cayanito, another Dine artist, is a possibility. In any event, it is splendid. It has some very compelling shapes that are subtle and smooth looking but each piece has dramatic deep stamping achieving a balance in appearance. My guess is that it is 40-50 years old. It has lots of tarnish patina. And has the artists hallmark “TC”. It is Not stamped “Sterling” but it is guaranteed to be Sterling Silver and authentic. If you have a larger waist than 36.5 (like me), this belt strap would need to be replaced. Please, take a good look at the pictures and magnified photographs to see if it is the one for you. This is an Old Signed ABJ Navajo Sterling Silver + Turquoise Native American Hair Barrette Ornament Handmade. This piece has wonderful old natural age patina indicative of its age and authenticity (please do not polish). The singular turquoise stone is set with a saw tooth bezel and includes quartz in the matrix. The whole ornament including the pin is covered with stamp work. Tested for sterling silver but unmarked. The back is signed by the artist ABJ Navajo. The ornament has a dome shape and measures 3 1/4 x 1 3/4 inches. The weight is 26 grams.
