This listing features a vintage Navajo Squash Blossom Necklace handcrafted from Sterling Silver and high grade Turquoise. NOTE: Please view all 22 photos. Last photos model necklace on a 5’8 tall, size 4 mannequin. This vintage Navajo necklace was handcrafted by a skilled Silversmith during the later-mid century. It features a classic squash design with smooth high polished Turquoise set in sterling silver. It’s beautifully crafted and weighs in at sturdy 210 grams. The stones portray the brightest, most beautiful colors like the bluest Caribbean waters. They have a fair amount of matrixes but, it’s the enchanting magical BLUE that gets me! Possibly Blue Diamond or Blue Gem.. ?? Each stone is in excellent condition, showing no signs of damage, while sitting tight and secure. The Naja has a classic design being made with heavy duty shanks while the blossoms carry triple fluted petals, all of which are in great condition. The petals are made with a thick heavy gauge silver making them strong and solid. The pearls are all handcrafted and strung on a sturdy silver wire with the original hook and eye clasp at each end. There is no sterling stamp or signature which is common for vintage Navajo jewelry. The silver was tested and we guarantee it’s purity of. This beautiful squash will be a new favorite for any vintage collection. It’s the perfect size, not too big yet, definitely large enough to be noticed, it lays perfectly over the chest (not crooked), and the turquoise is breathtaking! Wear with pride and enjoy!
