Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Kingman Turquoise Squash Blossom Necklace
This listing features a vintage Navajo Squash Blossom Necklace handcrafted from Sterling Silver and Turquoise. NOTE: Please view all 19 photos. Last photo shows necklace on a 5’8 tall, women’s size 4 model. This vintage Navajo necklace was handcrafted by a skilled Silversmith during the later-mid century. It features a classic squash design with high polished Kingman Turquoise set in sterling silver. It’s beautifully crafted with heavy gauge silver and weighs in at, a nice wearable weight, of 122 grams. The stones portray dense color hues of blue to blue/green with heavy dark matrixes. Each stone is in excellent vintage condition, showing no signs of damage, while sitting tight and secure. Twisted rope surrounds each stone followed by fancy swirls of silver.. Really, beautiful silver work on this piece! The Naja has a classic design being made with two shanks while the blossoms carry triple fluted petals, all of which are in great shape. The petals are made with a heavy gauge silver making them strong and solid. The pearls are free from dents and strung on a sturdy wire with the original hook and eye clasp at each end. There is no sterling stamp or signature which is common for vintage Navajo jewelry. The silver was tested and we guarantee it’s purity of.
