Vintage NATURAL ROYSTON TURQUOISE SQUASH BLOSSOM NECKLACE, Old Pawn c1960s, HUGE. For your consideration is this absolutely spectacular and high quality Navajo vintage handcrafted sterling silver Royston Turquoise Squash Blossom Necklace, circa 1960s era. This gorgeous squash blossom necklace features ten large, classic blossoms handcrafted from heavy gauge sterling silver and set with hand cut cabs of premium quality Royston turquoise, which is very rare in today’s market. The aqua-blue hues and matrix patterns are simply fabulous! The blossoms are topped with two sterling leaves and surrounded with exquisite hand tooled fancy scrollwork. The naja is huge at 4″ x 4″ with a large center stone and four smaller ones. These were hand strung on two rows of handmade sterling bench beads that tapers to a single strand. The Royston turquoise cabs measure about 3/4″ x 1-1/4′ while the squash blossoms measure approx 1-1/4″ wide x 2-1/4″ long and the naja is 4″ wide x 4 long. The necklace measures approx 27 long with the naja adding to the profile, closes with hook-eye clasp. Weighs about 292 grams. There are no markings that we would find, but guaranteed to be Native American made. Some light old pawn patina that has not been cleaned. Will come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
