Gorgeous Southwestern Native American Indian turquoise Sterling silver heart pendant, hallmarked R by the Navajo artist, and stamped STERLING. The pendant showcases a nicely cut green heart turquoise with a tan and copper matrix. This cabochon was polished to a shine and set in a smooth bezel wrapped in silver rope, and adorned by raindrops a solar circle on the bottom and a solar circle in a cross on top. The bale was heavy stamps and stamped silver spheres applied from end to end. The artist added a nice satin, antique finish to this piece. This pendant weighs approximately 18.5 grams, and it’s 2 1/2″ tall (including the bale) by 1 5/16″ wide. The pendant minus the bale and loop is 1 5/8 tall. The stone alone is about 1 1/8″ tall by 1 1/8″ wide, at its widest. The bale is 3/4″ tall by 1/2″ wide by 9/16 deep (front of the bale to the back).
